Tennis Team Celebrates Season So Far

The White Bear Lake Girls Tennis Team is having a fantastic season on and off the court. The team chemistry is solid and their conference record is 3-5. They’ve put up convincing scores and have had some close matches even when they’ve lost. The team beat Hill-Murray 7-0 in their first sections match on Monday October 7th. Tuesday’s match VS Stillwater has been postponed until Wednesday and White Bear is ready. “Stillwater will be tough,” says Captain Amy Moorhouse, “White Bear has the talent and skills needed to beat them. We’re going to put our best foot forward, not give up, and hopefully win.” The section championship is scheduled for Thursday October 9th and individual sections start the next day at the University of Minnesota. The girls are excited for their annual sleepover the night before individual sections and hope to have a huge impact on the competition. Let’s go Bears!
