The White Bear Lake food shelf needs your help. The annual Food Drive begins on October 27th, and this year as the economy is collapsing the demand for assistance is on the rise. The number of families that need help is swelling. The number of children that go to bed hungry grows and grows. Because of the increase in need the food shelf is looking for all types of nonperishable food. The time to act is now we must take action and combat the rise in hunger by giving more food. We need to support these families in need as a school and as a community for is not the golden rule do onto others as you would have them do onto you. So please bring in your canned goods your boxed foods and bring these families into your heart. The White Bear Lake area high school will gladly accept your donations during the annual food drive that begins on October 27th and ends on the 31st. this year we, as a community, must come together and help our neighbors out.
